Steam generator 23 liters
Description:
The steam generator is designed to produce steam, which can be used to melt wax quickly and safely. The steam generator
is fueled by firewood. The operation of the steam generator is allowed only outdoors. First, the firewood must be put
in the stove and ignited, after 2-3 minutes have passed since the start of ignition, then water must be poured into the
boiler through the opening at the top, unscrew the cork (after filling with water, screw the cork back on).
The amount of water to be poured is ~ 22 l (a slightly incomplete tank). Before melting the wax, the steam generator must be connected to the wax melter with a hose. After 20-30 minutes, the water in the pot should start to boil and steam will be released, as a result of which the hose will remain hot. If it is necessary to add water to the pot, first release the steam pressure in the system using the safety valve. To avoid scalding with steam, the cork should be opened slowly, while reducing the steam pressure in the tank. During the work process, it is necessary to monitor the pressure gauge reading; if the pressure rises above 0.5 kg/cm2, immediately stop the steam generator by extinguishing the fire in the furnace and reducing the pressure, then open the pot cork.
